My Battle Against The Nicotine Fiend ~ Day 3

The War against my inner Nicotine Fiend wages on....

Last night, I almost caved in to my craving. After a long day at the office (more like a cubicle with a window view) it was my daily habit to spark one up while riding home. I was very proud of myself that I made it through the day without being tempted to ask anyone at work for a cig during break times, which were times I usually liked to smoked. As I was leaving, my Nicotine Fiend got the best of me, I asked a colleague for one a rig.... Deep inside, I was ashamed of myself that I actually allowed myself to crack but I guess in each battle, we have a weak moment or a moment of self-doubt, that was mine.

Long story made short, after having a very small argument--- correction: difference in opinion with my honey, I got all stressed out, and walked out to get some fresh air. There, I remembered what I used to do when I got all stressed out, smoke. I pulled out the ciggy my colleague handed me and lit that mofo. Yeah.... For a second there, I made the Nicotine Fiend think he finally suckered me back in his self-destructive hypnosis, but after 1 hall, 2 halls, I was turned off and chucked that piece of shit stick to the floor and stomped on it. I immediately told myself, that I am stronger than this useless addiction, I will be VICTORIOUS.

If you've quit smoking, or any bad habit, you know to some it might be easy, but to most, it's a fucking struggle and a half. I'm proud of myself. I came really close to caving in but thank God my will power kicked in just in the nick of time to kick the craving right in the nuts like UNGGG!!! TAKE THAT! Haha. Raising a very big Middle Finger out to the Nicotine Fiend, I ain't your bitch, I ain't your slave, you ain't my master, you don't control me, your days of fooling me are OVER!!!

Before I end today's blog post, I wanna post a vid that a homey on Facebook shared (biggup to Mousemore Slim). It's about Quitting Smoking, if this don't make you wanna quit smoking cigarettes, you're seriously a sick fuck - literally! LOL But on a serious note, it's all mental, you can quit too, just believe in you, and you WILL pull thru. MAXIMUM BLESSINGZZZZZZZ!!!
